Thanksgiving Food Drives at both the Minneapolis and West Campuses on Sunday, November 19th, following all Worship Services, and on Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd. Please bring non-perishable food items (peanut butter, canned meats, canned beef stew, canned fruits and vegetables) to the parking lot at either campus. Food collected at Minneapolis will be donated to Community Emergency Services (CES), and food collected at the West Campus will be donated to Bountiful Basket.

Charles Moe, tenor, is a member of the Mount Olivet West Senior Choir. He is the Director of Choirs at Hutchinson High School in Hutchinson, MN. Charles has held teaching and church music positions in Iowa and Minnesota and his solo work includes recital, musical theatre, opera, and oratorio.

Carah Hart, soprano, was raised as a member of Mount Olivet where she participated in both the choral and youth programs offered through the church. She was an active performer at Edina High School and Luther College where she received degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance. She holds her Masters of Science in Teaching from Drake University and is currently a vocal music specialist in the Hopkins School District.

Members of the congregation and community are invited to this festive, Scandinavian tradition featuring an all-you-can-eat buffet of lutefisk, Swedish meatballs, rutabagas, boiled potatoes, pickeled beets, lefse, limpa rye bread, and rice pudding with ligonberries

Tickets are sold at the door--$20/adult, $5/kids 12 and under

Young Marrieds is a community of a variety of young couples aged 20-45: newlyweds, couples with no children, and couples with young to pre-teen children.

We meet throughout the year for social and service offerings. Our basic purpose is to involve, encourage and welcome young couples into the life and growth of Mount Olivet Church.

Please sign up to help serve at December's Homebound Communion on Saturday, December 2nd. We will have three shifts available. You can sign-up to help with one, two or all three. Come hang out with other fun Young Marrieds and help create a meaningful experience for our MO homebound members. Nursery is available, and children are encouraged to attend and help with the event as well.

Join us for a festive traditional turkey dinner following our Christmas Early worship service on Wednesday, December 20th at both campuses. The turkey dinner with all the trimmings and dessert will be $10.
We encourage registeration online with non- refundable payment by credit card.
