Baritone Justin Staebell is a Mount Olivet member and frequent soloist. He has been seen on the concert stage performing as a baritone soloist for the Brahms Requiem, Duruflé Requiem, Mozart Requiem, St. John Passion and Bach Magnificat and has worked with the Arizona Opera company as well as the Minnesota Opera and Center City Opera. He is a two-time recipient of the Metropolitan Opera Auditions Four City District Encouragement Award. Justin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance from the State University of New York at Fredonia and a Master of Music degree in Opera Performance at Arizona State University. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of Minnesota.

Please join us in volunteering for the Easter Angel Gifts benefiting Pastor Scott's ministry (Minneapolis) and Love INC (serving eastern Carver County). We need your help in packing and delivering Angel gifts on Saturday, April 8th at either campus. Join us at West at 10am (in the Fellowship Hall) or at Minneapolis at 3:00pm (in the gym). You will be helping to assemble and/or deliver the Angel Gifts to those in need by packing a food box and making Easter baskets. We especially need delivery volunteers!
Donations are also needed for the Easter baskets. During the month of March drop off NEW items to the main office at Mpls or West narthex, please mark all items "Angel Gifts". Christine Staebell, mezzo-soprano, is a Mount Olivet member and frequent soloist. She has been a soloist at numerous churches throughout the Unites States and loves performing a wide variety of music, from classical, to jazz, to contemporary. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University and her Master of Music degree from Arizona State University.

A group for young adults ages 18-22, Hi-er League meets in person during 4 school vacations and online throughout the year; a weekend at COP in June, a fun bonfire in July, Pizza party in November, and Worship and Chipotle in December.

We hope to see you back at your Church during breaks from school to re-connect with old and new friends, have some fun from the stresses of college, and be in relationship with God.

Family Camp & Hi-League Retreat Work Staff Information

Please register below to have your name put into the lottery to work staff at COP during Hi-League Retreat (Aug 9-13) or Family Camp (July 1-4). We will draw names at random to determine who will be given the opportunity to work staff. A maximum of 12 men and 12 women will be able to go to each session.  This lottery is only open to High School Graduates of 2016.
