Thanksgiving Food Drives at both the Minneapolis and West Campuses on Sunday, November 19th, following all Worship Services, and on Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd. Please bring non-perishable food items (Items that are of most need are: flour, sugar, cooking oil, canned meat (tuna, canned chicken), canned fruit, baked beans and ramen) to the parking lot at either campus. Food collected at Minneapolis will be donated to Community Emergency Services (CES), and food collected at the West Campus will be donated to Bountiful Basket.

Myrtle Lemon, soprano, holds a degree in Music Education from St. Olaf College. While at St. Olaf, she served as a soprano section leader in the St. Olaf Choir and performed in many lyric theater productions. Myrtle currently lives in northern St. Paul where she teaches music to students of all ages.

Christine Staebell, mezzo-soprano, is a Mount Olivet member and frequent soloist. She has been a soloist at numerous churches throughout the Unites States and loves performing a wide variety of music, from classical, to jazz, to contemporary. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University and her Master of Music degree from Arizona State University.

Our Thanksgiving offering, has been designated to help alleviate hunger through our partner food pantries Community Emergency Service,  Bountiful Basket, and other local food initiatives.

Sunday & Thursday,  Thanksgiving  Food Drive
Please bring non-perishable food items (peanut butter, canned meats, canned beef stew, canned fruits and vegetables) to the parking lot those days. Food collected will benefit Community Emergency Service at the Mpls campus and Bountiful Basket at the West campus.
