Cellist Diane Loudon has appeared regularly as an orchestral musician with many professional orchestras around the country. She can be heard performing as a soloist and chamber musician around the Twin Cities and has played for such musical acts as Charlotte Church, Michael Bolton, Aretha Franklin, and Smokey Robinson. An avid pedagogue, Ms. Loudon has maintained a cello studio in the Twin Cities for over fifteen years and is currently a cello instructor at the Mount Olivet School of Music. She also serves as manager and cellist for Rosewood String Ensemble. She holds a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in cello performance from the University of Illinois - Champaign-Urbana.

Martin Luther believed that in contemplating creation we learn much about the nature of God. From the first acts of creation to our new creation in Christ, we discover a continually creating, renewing, and sustaining God--unbound by laws of nature and boundless in love.

Join us Wednesday, August 2 at the Conference & Retreat Center for worship of our Creator God, led by Pastor Linton Scott. Our Camp SOAP campers will provide assistance and special music. Enjoy an outstanding dinner featuring BBQ Ribs, Macaroni and Cheese, Sweet Corn, Potato Salad, Cornbread with Honey Butter and Peach Crisp with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Naturalist Dan Kahl's nature class that evening will show us the Birds of Nicaragua. Please see our website or call the Conference & Retreat Center for more details and reservations.

Please note: This summer there will be complimentary bust transportation from MOLC Minneapolis, 7500 York and MOLC West Campus.

Tenor Aaron Humble has performed in opera, recital, concert, and chamber music venues. During his tenure with Cantus, Aaron enjoyed solo appearances with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and the Boston Pops and concert appearances at the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, The Library of Congress, Wolf Trap, and The Chautauqua Institute. Aaron has taught at Augustana College (IL) and is now on faculty at Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota where he teaches applied voice, diction, and conducts the University Chorale.

Join us Wednesday, August 9 at the Conference & Retreat Center for our final Midweek Worship of 2017 led by Pastor Mike Zacher, with special music by Brian Ohnsorg. As always, our dinner will celebrate you and our gratitude for your presence this summer with Thanksgiving dinner! Enjoy Roasted Turkey Breast, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Garlic Roasted Green Beans, Cranberry Relish and Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Cream. Naturalist Dan Kahl's nature class that evening will be a tour of our organic vegetable and orchard garden.
