We will play, read, and sing at this weekly faith-based hour-long class developed by a children librarian and early childhood specialist. Babygarten focuses on reading, rhyming, and activities. It is more than a playgroup or storytime - Babygarten provides pre-literacy skills for children in a faith-based environment. Amy Porthan, early childhood educator and Minneapolis nursery coordinator, will guide parents with activities and discussion on how to include God and faith with their child. Register Now for 2017-18 Sunday School

It’s a great time to register for Sunday School this fall. We’ll look forward to having your child(ren) join us as we explore a new curriculum and new format for Sunday mornings at the Mpls & West Campuses. We’ll be using the Group Publishing curriculum in a varied, and hands-on approach. We’ll also start with a large group format and break into small groups as we learn about faith while we continue building connections and friendships at church.

Mpls & West Campus Sunday Morning Volunteers Needed for Sunday School & The Way

We love to welcome new volunteers willing to help on Sunday mornings with Sunday School and The Way classes. If you have any interest, please contact Amber Kuntz amberk@mtolivet.org (Mpls) or Tasha Holifield tashah@mtolivet.org (West), and they will help find the right spot for you. There are many options for volunteers – teaching a specific Sunday School class for the year, assisting with large group at The Way (5th- and 6th-grade pre-Confirmation program), or substitute teaching on a more infrequent basis. We’re looking forward to a great year and hope you’ll join in the fun!

New Mpls Campus Sunday Morning Cherub Choir & Sunday School Option for Fall 2017

We’re thrilled to offer a Cherub Choir and Sunday School combined class this fall at the Mpls Campus 10am service. Your child will have the opportunity to enjoy a Sunday School lesson for the first half of class, and attend choir practice for the second half of class. We hope this collaboration allows children ages 3-5 who may not be able to attend choir practice on a weeknight the opportunity to participate in both programs. Registration for this Cherub Choir / Sunday School option is open online.

Preschool Registration Now Open

(Children 3yrs or 4yrs by September 1, 2018) Mount Olivet has offered a fun, Christian preschool experience at the Minneapolis Campus for over 40 years! Our days are filled with age-appropriate language, art, music, math/science and physical activities. We would love to have your child join our community! Questions: Linda Healy at 612.767.2216 lindah@mtolivet.org.

5th-Grade Bible Presentation

Su 10/8, Mpls during 12noon worship service, West during 11am worship service. Whether they are enrolled in The Way pre-Confirmation program or not, all 5th-graders are invited to participate in this important step in their faith journey. This is a special moment in the life of your family because placing the Bible in your child’s hand symbolizes the ownership your child is taking in his/her faith.
