Mountain Top Experiences

One of my favorite Bible verses is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13) What this verse means to me is that when we are on the mountain top and things are going swimmingly, we can enjoy good times with even greater appreciation knowing that it is a gift from God. What it also means to me is that when we are going through challenging times we can get through them in a way we could not without faith.

This summer 2000 kids will enter through the camp gates and discover a faith unlike any other. For some it will be a mountain top experience where they will grow in their faith and appreciate the many gifts from God. For others, it will provide respite, a relief from the day-to-day and a chance to escape the worries at home.

More than 900 people will join us at the Conference & Retreat Center’s midweek worship services, surrounded by nature and the gifts God has given unto us. We will sing together and worship together, giving thanks for the beauty of the earth and the reminder that God is with us at all times – in all ways.

I hope you are feeling strong and on top of the world. If so, celebrate that and say “thank you” to God. If you are not feeling strong, if you are not feeling on top of the world, remember that you are not alone. God is with you and there is heavenly help for you.
