Youth Instrumental Ensembles

Mount Olivet currently offers a handbell ensemble and an Orff ensemble for children at its Minneapolis Campus. 

Joyful Noise! - Orff Ensemble (4th-6th grade) Register Now
This instrumental ensemble provides upper elementary age musicians with opportunities to play, sing, improvise, and compose using xylophones, glockenspiels, metallophones, and other rhythm instruments. Director: Elaine Sergeant.

Sundays: 8:30-9:00am (MPLS Campus)
Tuesdays
: 6:30-7:00pm (MPLS Campus)

Joy Bells (5th grade - high school)  Register Now
A youth handbell ensemble. Every participant learns to play his or her assigned bells with one-on-one instruction in handbell technique and music reading. Director: Kate Graber.

Mondays: 5:00 - 5:45pm (MPLS Campus)

Adult Instrumental Ensembles

Mount Olivet offers handbell choirs for adults at its Minneapolis and West Campus.

Chancel Ringers 
Adults who enjoy music and fellowship come together to play in these adult handbell ensembles. Music reading skills are helpful, but only a desire to learn and create beautiful music together for worship is required.
