at the library!
Volunteers positions that are available: Circulation Desk
Shifts - Assisting in the check out process, checking materials back into the library as they are returned to the library,
shelving materials, and general library projects. This job can be done as much as once a week, or as little as once a month.
Processing New Materials - Preparing new books involves entering the title into the computer, covering them
with plastic covers, and labeling. This job is done as needed, not necessarily on a regular schedule.
Repairing
Damaged Materials - Recovering and taping up the pages of books and other materials when they have been over-used. This
job is done about 4 times a year.
Bulletin Board Displays - Bulletin board displays need to be created
and/or put up once a month. Also, book displays must be created, a bi-monthly job. |
