2012 Youth Camping Periods (Public School Grade – September 2012)  
The mission of Cathedral of the Pines Camp is to serve children and young people by enhancing their spiritual and emotional development.  The summer camping experience in the natural beauty of Caribou Lake at Lutsen, Minnesota helps the youth grow in their relationship with God.   A typical camp day includes Bible centered Christian living classes, swimming, paddleboats, nature, hiking, sports fundamentals, arts & crafts, large and small group games, and, of course, delicious food!  Each day at Cathedral of the Pines begins and ends in the Chapel overlooking beautiful Caribou Lake.

Follow all instructions on registration blank.  A SEPARATE REGISTRATION CARD and $50.00 (NON-REFUNDABLE) deposit is required with EACH week’s registration.  Payment options are Cash, Check, Visa or Mastercard.  Make check payable to: Cathedral of the Pines, Inc..  Please note that if paying by credit card, the entire camping fee will be charged at time of registration. 

Grades 3 & 4
A 6-day, 5-night camp for children entering public school grades 3 and 4 in 2012. 
July 9-14, 2012 – Monday through Saturday   Or

All-inclusive Cost:  
$270.00 – Mount Olivet Members
$320.00 – Non Members
Non-refundable $50.00 deposit due at time of registration.
Transportation by chartered coach bus provided.  

Grades 5 & 6

An 8-day, 7-night camp for children entering public school grades 5 & 6 in 2012.

June 21-28, 2012 - Thursday through Thursday or

July 16-23, 2012 – Monday through Monday

All inclusive Cost:  

$300.00 – Mount Olivet Members    

$350.00 – Non-Members

An 8-day, 7-night camp for children entering public school grades 7 & 8 in 2012.

9th Grade Confirmation Camp (MEMBERS ONLY)
An opportunity for all Mount Olivet second year confirmation students to celebrate the completion of their confirmation requirements with friends new and old. 
July 30 - August 4, 2012 – Monday through Saturday
All-inclusive Cost:  $260.00
Non-refundable $50.00 deposit due at time of registration in January 2012.

Hi-League Summer Starter (MEMBERS ONLY)
Join the Mount Olivet Youth Staff and your counselor and workstaff friends for a relaxing kick-off to the 2012 camping season. Hi-Leagureser entering 10th grade through graduated seniors welcome.  
June 17-21, 2012 – Sunday through Thursday
Cost: $210.00 All-inclusive.

Hi-League Retreat

Come and end your summer with a bang!  A high-energy fun filled weekend for 10th through 12th graders put on by the Camp Staff and the Mount Olivet Youth Staff that is sure to lift your spirits.  It is our way of ending a great camping year and thanking our counselors and workstaff for all of their hard work. 
August 9-13, 2012 – Thursday through Monday

Adult Retreats, Work Retreats and Family Camping Periods 

Registrations for Opening Weekend, Family Work Week and Family Camp will be accepted online beginning January 12, by mail or in person.  All registrations must be received by February 1.  On February 2, a lottery for the above camping sessions will be held. Results will be posted at Camp Rally on Sunday, February 12.

Opening Weekend Volunteers
May 25-28, 2012 - Friday Dinner through Monday Breakfast  – Cost: $25/person. Willing and able bodies necessary.  No transportation provided. Led by Pastor Ken Kotzer.  A working weekend for Mount Olivet Members to volunteer their time and talents to begin opening the camp in preparation of the upcoming camper season.  Space is limited to 22 individuals/families.  Immediate family members only.  Children must be 5 years of age or older. 

Family Work Week

June 9-14, 2012 – Saturday Dinner through Thursday Breakfast  Cost: $25/person – Willing and able bodies necessary.  No transportation provided. Led by Pastor Kurt Kalland.   A working week for Mount Olivet member families to volunteer their time and talents to participate in the final preparations of the camp for the 2012 camper season. Space is limited to 22 families.  Immediate family members only.  Children must be 5 years of age or older. 

Family Camp

June 28 - July 1, 2012 – Thursday Dinner through Sunday Brunch  Cost:: $200.00/adult, $50.00/child (maximum $500.00/family) – No transportation provided. Led by Pastor Craig Johnson and Pastor Ken Kotzer.  A great way to introduce families to the Cathedral of the Pines camping experience.  The weekend is recommended for families with children between the ages of 3 – 12.  Space is limited to 22 families.  Immediate family members only.     

Young Marrieds/20something Weekend

June 15-17, 2012 – Friday Dinner through Sunday Brunch  Cost:  $125.00/person. No transportation provided  A casual weekend away without children to catch up with old friends and a great way to meet some new ones for Young Married couples and 20Somethings.  Led by Pastor Drew Bakken, Pastor Eric Youngdahl and Billy Johnson. Registration begins January 18 and will be accepted through May 1. Non-refundable $25.00 deposit due at time of registration.  Space is limited.
