This is a special service for all 6th graders and their family members to celebrate the sacrament of first communion with their church family. The 6th grade students who are recieving 1st communion should be in the fellowship hall of the Minneapolis Campus at 1:30pm to check in and line up. We begin at each campus and travel together to Paint Your Plate, where fun and energetic staff will help your family DESIGN a beautiful ceramic piece together. Families will have the option to purchase additional items. While wrapping up our masterpieces, we will DINE on a catered dinner from Noodles & Company, including sides and beverages. Our evening will conclude with a trip down the block for DESSERT at Yogurt Lab, where we will create edible works of art from their selection of yogurts and toppings! Cost: $50 for 2 family members. $15 for each additional family member. Includes family craft, Noodles & Company dinner, Yogurt Lab dessert, and transportation. Both the West Campus Chancel choir and the Minneapolis Campus Chancel choir will come together on May 16th (8pm) into the late night and morning of Saturday, May 17th (6:30am)! Make sure to pack yourself a mountain dew so you can pull an all nighter!!! We will go to a sport/entertainment center, do some bowling, have pizza, go to comedy sportz, have a dance, watch a movie, play some games, and have breakfast...all in ONE NIGHT:):):)! Please arrive at either campus at 8pm Friday night, pick-up will be at either campus at 6:30am on Saturday morning

Get outside and enjoy the beauty of Lake Harriet with the Children's and Family Ministry Team and guest presenters from Calhoun Cycle! We will meet at the Lake Harriet Bandshell on Saturday, June 7 at 11:30am for a 3-mile bike ride around beautiful Lake Harriet. Before we set-out, special guests from the Calhoun Cycle bike shop will help with simple tune-ups, answer questions about sizing and bike maintenance, and speak about bike safety! After biking, we will have a picnic lunch at the Lake Harriet Bandshell. Water and a cooler to store your lunches will be provided. After lunch, families are welcome to join us for an optional ride 3-mile ride around connecting Lake Calhoun. We will return to the Lake Harriet Bandshell at approximately 2:15pm. Through service learning projects, team-building activities, Bible studies and fellowship with one another\, Summer of Service (S.O.S.) campers will focus on God's call to serve others. Exploring the Mount Olivet Conference and Retreat Center, activities include\; chapel, swimming, crafts, games, meals and snacks. Activities designed specifically for your 5th and 6th grader feature a challenge-course and service opportunities, including a service-oriented field trip. Team STP! members are responsible for daily check-in, leading morning games, assisting with all off-site afternoon activities, and serving as the back-stage crew at the final performance. Members of Team STP! will take part in leadership training, morning bonding meetings with fellow Team members and staff, and will participate on stage in some of the musical numbers. Hey Junior High Alive! We're so pumped to be able to invite you all to "Bunker Hills Wave Pool"! It should be a scorching mid-summer day in July, so come cool off at one of the best water parks around. We are opening the invitation to members and non-members alike, so feel free to bring a friend or two to join in on the fun. Bring your own money for concessions, and don't forget to bring a swimsuit, beach towel, and a change of dry clothes. Transportation from the West Campus will leave at 9:30am and meet in Minneapolis. We will arrive back at Minneapolis at 4:00pm and take off for the West Campus arriving at 4:30pm.
