Mount Olivet's Community Outreach Ministry offers a variety of programs and services, "Extending Hearts, Hands and Voices for Christ."

Angel Gifts
Donating, assembling and delivering food, personal items, and gifts on Palm Sunday to homebound members and families in the inner-city.
Volunteer to be an Easter Angel

Community Emergency Service
Assisting this agency in serving the needs of the inner-city poor: emergency food and housing, spiritual, family and employment counseling.

Disaster Response Team
Responding to disasters as needed in the upper Midwest; serve as mass care facility for the American Red Cross during a large-scale disaster.

Hope for Homes
An outreach ministry of Mount Olivet Church focused on home improvement and home modification projects for the community and those in need. Members of this ministry team volunteer for painting, repair or building projects as selected by the board. Time commitment varies. No experience necessary.  Click for upcoming needs.

Hunger Task Force
Educating the congregation on world hunger; working with Community Emergency Service preparing and serving dinners. Sponsors three food drives throughout the year.

Love INC
Meet needs of people in eastern Carver County through food and clothing collection and distribution, and other basic services of support.

Meals Via Wheels
Delivering hot noon meals to elderly and disabled residents of southwest Minneapolis.

On-Call Team
Collecting, sorting, and distributing clothing, food, or furniture to people in need in the metro area.
