Mount Olivet's Community Outreach Ministry offers a variety of programs and services, "Extending Hearts, Hands and Voices for Christ."

Angel Gifts
Donating, assembling and delivering food, personal items, and gifts on Palm Sunday to homebound members and families in the inner-city.

Community Emergency Service
Assisting this agency in serving the needs of the inner-city poor: emergency food and housing, spiritual, family and employment counseling.

The Dignity Center
The Dignity Center provides support, opportunity and resources for people in transition as they regain stability in their lives and move towards self-sufficiency.

Disaster Response Team
Responding to disasters as needed in the upper Midwest; serve as mass care facility for the American Red Cross during a large-scale disaster.

Hope for Homes
An outreach ministry of Mount Olivet Church focused on home improvement and home modification projects for the community and those in need. Members of this ministry team volunteer for painting, repair or building projects as selected by the board. Time commitment varies. No experience necessary. 

Hunger Task Force
Educating the congregation on world hunger; working with Community Emergency Service preparing and serving dinners. Sponsors three food drives throughout the year.

Love INC
Meet needs of people in eastern Carver County through food and clothing collection and distribution, and other basic services of support.
Love INC's Personal Care Ministry delivered 753 items to 67 families in the past two months. Thank you all for your support. Donations are always welcome, as this is an ongoing project. Check at the West Campus Narthex desk to find out what is needed. Drivers to deliver the items to families in need are always needed and appreciated. Contact Marilyn Cornman at 952-992-9777

Meals Via Wheels
Delivering hot noon meals to elderly and disabled residents of southwest Minneapolis.

On-Call Team
Collecting, sorting, and distributing clothing, food, or furniture to people in need in the metro area.

Simpson Housing Dinners
Volunteers will meet at Simpson Housing Services, located at 2740 1st Ave S in Minneapolis at 5:30pm. They prepare, serve, and clean up after the evening meal, served to approximately 150 residents of this homeless shelter. The evening usually ends around 8 or 8:30pm

Stepping Stones Ministries
A program for men and women seeking support as they return to their families and communities following incarceration

VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People)
Volunteer in food pantry, drive VEAP minivan for appointments; serves south Minneapolis, Richfield, Bloomington and Edina.
