Mount Olivet Care Ministry seeks to provide opportunities and assistance for all members and their families, bringing the physical, spiritual and emotional healing of Christ to persons in need. Whether you are interested in sharing Christ's love by becoming a volunteer or seeking help through a care ministry, Mount Olivet Church welcomes the opportunity to assist you in any way we can.
International MinistriesTraveling to developing countries? Any room in your suitcase? We want you! The International Ministry Committee has pillowcase dresses and personal hygiene kits, made by Mount Olivet members, that need to get to young people in need throughout the world. Parish Nurse- Sandy ConnellOur Parish nurse's primary role is to be an advocate in matters of health and wellness for the member of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church. Home visits, hospital visits and care facilities and support groups.
Caregivers Specially trained volunteers assist members who are hospitalized, bereaved, homebound, lonely, mentally ill or otherwise in crisis, provided occasional support or ongoing friendship for those in need.
Prayer MinistryAre you need of prayer support? Specific requests, whether personal or for the work of the church or the world are welcome anytime. Link CallersDesigned to provide a telephone link between a Mount Olivet volunteer and a parishioner who may be lonely, elderly, homebound, infirm, mentally ill, or for some other reason may benefit from regular telephone contact with an active volunteer.

Homebound Ministry Homebound members that are unable to come to church on a regular basis can receive homebound communion, occasional caregiver visits or attend special events designed for homebound members at their church. read more.
Pastor On-CallMount Olivet has a dedicated Pastor on-call to serve members in times of need 24 hours a day- 7 days a week. Members should contact the main phone number of 612.926.7651 for information on the Pastor on call.
Prayer Shawl MinistryParticipants set aside time each day to pray for specific requests, whether they are personal, for the work of the church or the world. Read more.

New Baby MinistryA special outreach ministry program to acknowledge and join in the celebration of the birth or adoption of a baby by bringing well wishes and support to young families.
