Rehab Project November 4, 5, 11, 12, 18  and 19 ~ 8:30 am - 4 pm

We are looking for volunteers to help on the first three Fridays and Saturdays in November at Redeemer Center for Life, 1800 Glenwood Avenue in North Minneapolis.

Mount Olivet's Hope for Homes ministry, an outreach of Community Concern, will help rehab (demolition, drywall, kitchen and bathroom rehab, painting) two apartment units in an existing building.  Redeemer Center for Life provides housing and transition support for young adults ages 16 to 24 years, and is an outrach ministry of Redeemer Lutheran Church.  Hope for Homes provides volunteer assistance to accomplish minor home repairs for those homeowners with special needs, our Mount Olivet facilities, and local faith-based organizations.  Please join us on one or more days - no special skills needed, lunch is provided, and great fellowship!

We also are looking for people with trade skills such as plumbing, electrical, floor sanding, sheetrock or masonry to assist with small projects.  Trade skills will be scheduled when appropriate.
