Holy Yoga

Holy Yoga is an international organization that combines worshiping the Lord with strengthening your body. This one-hour, level-one class taught by Lori Nissen is a great physical and spiritual start to your day. No registration is needed, just bring a mat and water bottle and all are welcome! Chair Yoga

Chair Holy Yoga, like Holy Yoga, combines worshiping the Lord with strengthening your body, but is aimed specifically at those who find getting up and down from the floor difficult. Work on flexibility, stretching, core work, and balance all while sitting on a chair! Taught by Lori Nissen, this is a great physical and spiritual boost in your day. Gentle Yoga

Led by Karin Junge, certified fitness instructor, this class is recommended for those of all fitness levels who are comfortable kneeling and moving between a seated and standing position. Each class consists of breath work, poses, and flows that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and relaxation. Participants work at their own paces, and are given modifications for each pose if necessary. Wear comfortable clothing you can stretch in, and bring a yoga mat and yoga strap (towel or belt acceptable).

(New students: Must arrive 15 minutes early to 1st class for technique demo with instructor, and must complete a health history & waiver form.)

Tues., Jan. 10 - May 22, 4:45- 5:30pm; Room 482; Cost: $7 drop-in fee (paid to the instructor at class). No registration necessary.
