Sunday 9:00 AM
Mount Olivet is partnering with the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign for our Annual Spring Food Drive. During the month of March organizations throughout the state hold food drives to collect the most items to donate to local food shelfs. Last March 2016, Mount Olivet came in 9th place for the organization that collected the most food! Let’s make that first place this year!

Mount Olivet Church will sponsor a food drive at both Minneapolis and West Campuses on Sunday, March 19th, following worship services. Please bring non-perishable food items to the parking lot that day. Items most needed are oil, sugar, flour, canned tuna, chicken, fruit, soups and chilis, and boxed mac and cheese. Food collected at Minneapolis will be contributed to Community Emergency Service (CES); and food collected at the West campus will be donated to Bountiful Basket. Questions? Pastor Bill MacLean 612.767.2230 billm@mtolivet.org.

Throughout history, humans have faced divisive issues and difficulties in connecting across real or perceived social and political barriers. But God has equipped each one of us to build bridges of understanding and spread his peace. Our equipment? Two ears and a loving heart. Join Pastor Steve Cornils and Dr. Gary Wilkerson for a workshop that will help us listen carefully, alleviate conflict, find common ground, and see everybody through the cross of Christ. Open-hearted listening is just one more way that God’s grace changes everything!

Care Ministry

Mount Olivet Care Ministry seeks to provide opportunities and assistance for all members and their families, bringing the physical, spiritual and emotional healing of Christ to persons in need.  Whether you are interested in sharing Christ's love by becoming a volunteer or seeking help through a care ministry, Mount Olivet Church welcomes the opportunity to assist you in any way we can.

Community Outreach Ministries
Providing support within our local and global community to share in God's work with our hands; helping those in need.

The primary role of a parish nurse is to be an advocate in matters of health and wellness for the members of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church.  Our parish nurse is available for home visits, hospital visits or visits at a care facility. Contact Tracey Hickey with questions at 612-767-2210 or traceyh@mtolivet.org.

Prayer Ministry
Are you in need of prayer support?  Specific requests, whether personal or for the work of the church are welcome anytime.  If you or someone you know is in need of prayer support, please call our prayer line at 612-920-2770, or click here to send a confidential prayer request.

Caregivers - A ministry of friendship

Homebound Ministry

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Members of this ministry knit prayer shawls to be shared with Mount Olivet members and friends who are in need of support and prayers from their church.  The gift of a prayer shawl is a lovely reminder of the care and compassion given by members of this ministry.  Please contact Tracey Hickey at 612-767-2210 or traceyh@mtolivet.org for more information or to join the Prayer Shawl Ministry.
